 Hallo, Buon Giorno und Griaßti!
My name is Birgit Atzl and I come from Tirol, Austria. After I finished my school in July 2007 I wanted to do something meaningful. First I worked for Grenzenlos in Vienna in some workcamps and then I decided to go abroad. Where? This was a bit complicated, but the destiny said: Go to Altamura! So I am here now since one week and I like it a lot. It is really different from Austria, and many stereotypes are already approved (like the italian way of driving the car!!) I will stay for six month and I hope to discover many more things, and maybe understand the way of living of the italian people (18th of february until 18th of august)

Be careful next six months because Latvian journalist is here now! My name is Sintija, but you can call me Cinzia if you want. I will stay in Italy, in Altamura for half year. What I will do here? When I will find the right answer, I will write it here, I promise! But in general...I WILL LIVE HERE! And I will work in the most wonderful Italian youth organization what you already know if you have opened this homepage... For six months LINK will be my hopes and tools for create a new great future for youngsters in Italy and Latvia. I hope we will have done great job together. I'm Slávka, 20 years old from Slovacchia. I stay here for 6 months - from the 1st of November till the 30th April - as EVS volunteer. I like sport - playing volleyball, swimming, skiing, hiking, rafting, MTB (mountain bike). I love art (music, painting, drawing). I have been playing piano for 13 years and i also love to travel and i want to know other cultures, learn other languages, meet new people and try something new... That's why i made a decision to become a volunteer in Italy.

Sono David e vengo dalla Spagna, ho 20 anni e studio Interpretariato all'università.
Sono interessato all'interculturalità perché da piccolo sono sempre stato in contatto con diverse culture (la mia città in Spagna è Alicante, città europea ma molto vicina all'Africa e famosa per il turismo e c'è un grande miscuglio di culture .È per questa ragione che sono venuto in Italia, per lavorare con Link in diversi progetti che hanno relazione con la cultura e la società e chi mi aiuteranno anche nella mia formazione come futuro interprete. Sono qua per 9 mesi e spero di imparare tutto quello che Link mi offre da imparare e che senza dubbi mi farà crescere tanto come persona. Ringrazio Link per darmi quest'opportunità.

My name is Martin and I'm going to have (da best 9 months here in Altamura). Why EVS? Well, I think the right answer for the question would be:"I love Youth Work". One other thing, during the EVS here in this magical city I hope to know more about me. Its a really deep topic, so I just make it shortly. I'm 19, I love to play drums, tennis etc. So I hope the best, cause IT IS GOING TO BE MY HOME for the next 9 months. Aa by the way , I m coming from a country called The Kingdom Of Estonia:)..........no no no it was a joke. Just Estonia.
NB! Capitol town of Estonia Tallinn will be the culture capitol of Europe in 2011, and we have won the Eurovision song contest.
