In this section you can find information about all opportunities Link offers to youngs and adults to lserve a voluntary experience, youth exchange, education and other events of non-formal learning in our association or in our Italian partners.
European Volunteer Service is supported by the program Youth in Action and it offers to young people from 18 to 30 years old an intercultural experience in a non-formal background, it promotes their social integration and active involvement. Senior voluntary work turns to over 50 citizens and is supported by Grundtvig program.
It deals with activities for supporting transnational mobility of self-employed, or people looking for a job (including graduates) who trains abroad on a professional basis, supported by the program Leonardo da Vinci.
It deals with training activities turn to active operators in the sector of non-formal education. Youth in Action offers training courses for who want to work with youngers. Training opportunities are offered by the program LLP and other active European association too.
Exchanges, supported by the program Youth in Action, offer group of young people come from two or more countries the opportunity to project with us their own exchange on the base of a common interest theme, to discover points of agreement and disagreement and to know the other culture.
Youth initiatives of the program Youth in Action offer youngers the possibility of improve and express their creativity and their enterprising spirit. Local initiatives can be supported also by other public or private organisms or by self-financing.
Sectorial program Grundtvig replies to educational and learning needs of adults and of organitations which work on this field. The program includes many activities, for example senior voluntary work.

Activities of Leonardo da Vinci volunteers and apprentices go on, coordinated by Link association, in the Parco della Murgia of Matera to improve its environmental and artistic patrimony.
On Saturday the 9th of November 2013, at 18.30, the official launch of the fourth edition of Scriptamanent - stories of voluntary works abroad from the whole Europe- will be held at MO'STO (Matera, Via Ridola, n°18). This edition, made thanks to the support of Esecutive Agency – Youth in Action Program – is Plus: besides the book, a new digital version will be launch, with extra contents (videos, photos). During the night the winners will be rewarded, in the presence of the international partners. The meeting will be occasion of knowing cultural patrimony, cities, and organisations with which Link have been collaborating with in voluntary work projects. Other importart date is on Sunday the 10th. In the morning foreign partners' volunteers will promote the Scriptamanent project and the book; they will set a stand where also many other books will be sold without money... come to see how it goes on! From November 2013, new incoming long-lasting volunteers at Link! One who arrives and doesn't know the town, its culture, could need some help, so we invite you to be available to play the role of mentor for Pierre (France) and Laura (Romania), who will stay in Altamura for six months.
Steven is the new Leonardo da Vinci apprentice, sent by English association Everything's Possible. He serves his internship with Link and with other local partner teaching children English, activities of orienteering, oversighting English text, intercultural workshop.

On Sunday 12th of May, Link will organize the event 1010 WAYS TO BUY WITHOUT MONEY. A stand will be set up to sell books which will be paid without money. Every book, in fact, will have got a cost (decided by the benefactor) consisting in a good action. So, you can get a Gabriel Garcia Marquez book, for example, inviting a friend to have dinner at your home or calling somebody loved to say you love him/her.
Associazione Link from Italy is looking for long term EVS volunteers from Programme Countries. The projects will host 6 volunteers and will be applied the 1° of May 2013.
Wednesday 13th of March, the meeting for the launch of the SCRIPTAMANENT fourth edition will take place in the bookshop La Civetta (via Annibale di Francia 5, Altamura).
Link hosts two French volunteers for the project ActivAge (Program LLP-Grundtvig). Michele, 61, and Marie Therese, 70, will stay in Altamura from the 4th of February to the 4th of March.
We are happy to announce the promotion of the “Laboratorio dal Basso ri-scosse” by ARTI, promoted by the association Centro Play with the partnership of Link association, Hub Bari and Casa Netural.
The last 2012 volunteers are due to leave. Thanks all them to participation. Now all we can do is wait the arrival of new volunteers in January 2013, to start a new intercultural year.
The Cinco second meeting has taken place in Matera from the 1st to the 4th of November 2012, project set up in the program Leonardo da Vinci, for moving innovation in the sector of linguistic intercomprehension.
