 L'associazione Link è lieta di annunciare che il progetto "Escala - European Youth Summer Camp A la Turca", di cui è partner, è stato approvato dall'Agenzia Gioventù turca, nel quadro dell'azione 5 Sostegno alla cooperazione europea nel settore della gioventù. Il progetto prevede diverse iniziative, tra cui uno Youth Summer Camp che si terrà in Turchia nell'estate 2008. Il capofila del progetto è NiHAnkara. Stiamo selezionando partecipanti con il seguente profilo: studenti e neolaureati in economia, scienze politiche, giurisprudenza, relazioni internazionali, comunicazioni, sociologia, storia e geografia. ESCALA - European Youth Summer Camp a la Turca, to be held in the mountains of Kastamonu
province in Turkey during 4 days in August 2008, focuses on the issue of European awareness
and diversity among young citizens. This action aims at:
- creating and maintaining a structured dialogue through a durable network and platform of
discussion on European issues between participants
- assessing the knowledge and increasing awareness of young people about different
European histories, societies, policies and values
- sharing visions of the future Europe
- encouraging creativity and coherent critical thinking among young people
- and promoting Turkey and EU as "united in diversity"
About 50 young people coming from Turkey, Spain, the Netherlands, Italy, Hungary, and Austria
will share their opinions about a wide range of EU-related subjects and meet with about 10
experts and European policy-makers during the camp's activities (workshops, simulation of
European Parliament, interview with policy-makers, sportive challenge, intercultural movie
screening, musical performances, etc.).
