Our organization is an NGO that organizes trainings, seminars, and youth exchanges, where it promotes active participation, citizenship, volunteering, and international mobility in a "wide" Europe. Apart from many other activities it is dealing with European Voluntary Service (EVS) coordination in the region of Lorraine, France. Young people from all over Europe are coming to do their projects in our region, and we are also sending French young people for the projects. TOGETHER is in charge of uniting all these young people: future, current and ex-volunteers in a project, called «Embassy». The name is highly symbolic, as all the volunteers are the « Ambassadors » of their countries.
The task of the employee will be to take the responsibility of this coordination that includes:
-to work on communication of the NGO (web page, newsletters, press-releases, etc.)
-to organize common activities for the volunteers of the coordination (visits of institutions, meetings, presentation, cultural programme, etc.)
-to organize animations, promoting the philosophy of the NGO, and involving the volunteers' participation
-to be in charge of the technical and administrative aspects of the project
-to be a support for the volunteers in case of conflict management, problem resolution, etc.
-to contribute with personal ideas to the development of the NGO
Required competences:
-Proficient written and oral English skills
-At least basic knowledge of French
-Driving license category B
-Passion for working in a European NGO
-Ability to think independently and mature thinking
-Capacity to take leadership
-Responsible approach
-Capacity to manage finances
-Sense of organization and self-discipline
-Intercultural tolerance
-Ability to resist stress, and if needed, to work under pressure
-Creative and innovative thinking
-Positive attitude
