Ebbene sì, il progetto Eyes Wide Open ad Altamura è partito!
I volontari hanno iniziato questa nuova avventura e le loro idee iniziano a prendere forma concretamente. Dopo il l loro arrivo ad Altamura hanno cominciato a conoscersi e ovviamente conoscere noi dell'Associazione Link oltre che noi conoscere loro.
Abbiamo rotto il ghiaccio così come gli italiani sanno fare :) e si è creato già un rapporto ripsettoso e leggero.
Tra giochi di conoscenza e qualche gag, abbiamo focalizzato l'attenzione sulle attività previste per queste settimane insieme. Tra le prime concrete azioni fatte: la conoscenza di Pierpaolo Amato, giovanissimo ebanista altamurano che con passione fa il suo lavoro. Lavorare il legno non è proprio un lavoro comune attualmente specie sotto un'occhio più artistico e da designer. Sotto l'ispirazione proprio di Pierpaolo, il gruppo ha cominciato a raccogliere idee su ciò che loro potrebbero realizzare per il giardino dell'Agorateca, la biblioteca che ospita il gruppo per il progetto. Le idee sono arrivate e nei prossimi giorni vi racconteremo e mostreremo cosa abbiamo in mente.

Yes, the project has started, the volunteers have begun this new adventure and their ideas are beginning to take concrete shape.
After their arrival in Altamura they started to get to know each other and of course to get to know us of the Link Association as well as us getting to know them. We broke the ice as Italians know how to do :) and a respectable and light relationship has already been created.
Between knowledge games and a few gags, we focused on the activities planned for these weeks together. Among the first concrete actions taken: getting to know Pierpaolo Amato, a young cabinet-maker from Altamura who does his job with passion. Working with wood is not exactly a common job at present, especially under a more artistic and designer's eye. Under Pierpaolo's inspiration, the group began to gather ideas on what they could make for the garden of the Agorateca, the library that hosts the group for the project. The ideas have arrived and in the coming days we will tell you and show you what we have in mind.
