Ultime notizie del gruppo Eyes Wide Open, appena concluso dopo un mese di attività

La nostra ultima settimana è quasi giunta al termine... Ad essere onesti siamo tutti molto tristi in questo momento perché in qualche modo ci sembra di esserci abituati a tutto e di aver fatto amicizia con persone simpatiche e cool, ma ora è arrivato il momento di partire, ma prima di farlo scriviamo questo articolo!

Continuando il nostro argomento precedente, siamo finalmente usciti in alcuni dei migliori bar di Altamura con la migliore coordinatrice Roxane!!! È un bel ricordo che conserveremo per sempre💜💜Poi nel fine settimana alcuni di noi sono andati a Matera, e la domenica abbiamo visitato anche Monopoli, ma non è tutto, perché nel frattempo altri partecipanti sono andati a Lecce, quindi siamo stati tutti abbastanza impegnati!

La settimana lavorativa è iniziata con la realizzazione del nostro progetto finale, che è (piccolo spoiler) un breve film documentario composto da tutte le interviste - sia dei locali che nostre! È stata una sfida, ma anche una grande opportunità per dimostrare le nostre capacità, dal momento che abbiamo avuto piena libertà nella regia e nel montaggio. Non vediamo l'ora di vedere il risultato finale del nostro mese di lavoro riunito in un reportage come questo!

Dato che abbiamo quasi finito, dobbiamo avere anche un evento finale che presenterà i nostri risultati come squadra, quindi per questo tipo di evento significativo abbiamo deciso... di incontrarci tutti insieme, e di preparare pasta e tiramisù con una presentazione del nostro documentario! All'inizio avrebbe dovuto avere un aspetto diverso, ma poi abbiamo tutti convenuto che questa opzione è molto più accogliente e comoda. Abbiamo invitato anche le persone che abbiamo intervistato, quindi sembra che domani ci divertiremo molto.

Infine, dato che è il nostro ultimo articolo, volevamo lasciare qui alcune frasi di tutti partecipanti così come sono:

"Sono così grata per questa esperienza; mi sono goduta ogni parte di essa! Dalle persone che ho conosciuto, ai progetti che abbiamo creato insieme, passando per le piccole gite e i momenti fuori dall'Agorateca, senza dimenticare l'incredibile e autentico cibo italiano che ho mangiato." Ella dalla Francia.

"Un mese è passato così in fretta, ma allo stesso tempo mi sembra di aver vissuto un'altra vita. Ho incontrato persone assolutamente incredibili che voglio ammirare, ho visitato luoghi che non avrei mai pensato di visitare e ho sperimentato così tante cose nuove che ora sono piena di sentimenti e ricordi! Non potrei desiderare di più e sono davvero grata per l'opportunità che ho avuto.“ Sonia dall'Ucraina.

“Partecipare a questo progetto è stata un'opportunità meravigliosa. Ho imparato molto sulla sostenibilità, sui prodotti locali pugliesi, su altre culture e, soprattutto, su me stessa. Sento di aver trovato una casa in cui posso sempre tornare nell'Agorateca e in tutte le persone che si sono prese cura di me lì, così come in tutti gli altri volontari che ora posso chiamare miei amici. Trascorrere un mese in un altro paese vivendo con persone provenienti da così tanti luoghi diversi era qualcosa che trovavo spaventoso e impegnativo, ma alla fine sono stata fortunata ad essere circondata da così tante persone fantastiche che hanno reso l'esperienza degna di essere vissuta.” Carmen dalla Spagna.

”Un mese è volato. È stata un'esperienza così divertente e memorabile che porterò con me per tutta la vita. Lavorare con tutti è stato davvero piacevole, vedere come tante menti possono unirsi per raggiungere un obiettivo comune ha reso tutto più gratificante. Tornerò a casa felice di tutto quello che abbiamo realizzato qui e porterò nel cuore tutti quelli che ho incontrato". Mónica dal Portogallo.

“Sono molto contenta di aver partecipato a questo progetto e di aver fatto amicizia. Questa esperienza mi ha aiutata a mettermi alla prova soprattutto nel mio parlare in un'altra lingua. Mi sono piaciuti molto i progetti e ascoltare le persone che ci mettono tanto impegno e tanta passione nel loro lavoro, ringrazio Roxane, Dario e Giuseppe per aver organizzato tutto.” Marilena dall'Italia.

“Un mese è volato in fretta, un mese pieno di emozioni, attività e tanto inglese. Questa esperienza è stata molto importante per me, ho apprezzato molto le attività, vedere i bellissimi paesaggi che abbiamo qui che molte volte sottovalutiamo. Tutte le persone che ho incontrato sono state molto significative per me a partire da Dario, Roxane e Giuseppe a tutti i componenti di Link e ovviamente i ragazzi che sono stati con noi un mese ma anche le persone che abbiamo incontrato durante il nostro percorso. Ho imparato e visto tanto, un’esperienza simile la rifarei molto volentieri e più passo il tempo con persone straniere più penso che tutto il mondo è paese. “Che mese incredibile! Far parte di un gruppo così vivace e internazionale ed esplorare nuovi approcci e prospettive è stato davvero illuminante. Ogni conversazione mi ha offerto una nuova visione delle cose e sono incredibilmente grata di aver incontrato così tante persone stimolanti. Questo viaggio ha riempito il mio cuore di calore e di un rinnovato senso di scopo. Grazie!” Franz dalla Germania.

“Mi è piaciuto molto far parte di un gruppo così vivace e internazionale ed esplorare approcci locali alla produzione alimentare sostenibile. Ogni intervista mi ha offerto una nuova prospettiva e sono incredibilmente grata di aver avuto l'opportunità di incontrare così tante persone stimolanti.” Emilie dai Paesi Bassi.

“È stata un'esperienza incredibile far parte di questo gruppo! Anche se questo mese è volato, abbiamo realizzato tantissime cose insieme. Abbiamo condiviso le nostre competenze e imparato tante cose nuove. Abbiamo anche fatto tante visite che ci hanno permesso di scoprire persone e luoghi interessanti. Grazie a tutti coloro che hanno partecipato al progetto, allo staff e a tutte le persone che abbiamo incontrato durante questa meravigliosa esperienza!” Dario dall’Italia.

“Ricca di ricordi, amici e innumerevoli esperienze, questa esperienza di volontariato giunge al termine. Nell'ultimo mese ho imparato tantissime cose, assaggiato cibi deliziosi, scoperto luoghi incredibili e incontrato persone meravigliose che rimarranno per sempre nel mio cuore. È stata un'esperienza unica che è volata via troppo in fretta e che spero di poter ripetere un giorno.

“Siamo tristi e felici allo stesso tempo di aver finalmente concluso il progetto. Il gruppo ha fatto un ottimo lavoro di autocostruzione in Agorateca (che potete venire a vedere in qualsiasi momento), si è divertito a incontrare la gente del posto e a fare interviste, ma soprattutto ha fatto un lavoro straordinario per il documentario! Lo pubblicheremo presto su YouTube affinché tutti possano vederlo. Abbiamo ricevuto ottimi feedback dal gruppo durante la nostra ultima sessione di valutazione e abbiamo raccolto i loro ricordi e le loro esperienze migliori durante il loro soggiorno qui ad Altamura. Abbiamo condiviso tutto questo durante un ultimo pranzo tutti insieme per concludere il tutto. Il nostro obiettivo era quello di farli divertire, come sempre, e da quello che ci hanno detto, ci siamo riusciti! Grazie a tutti i nostri volontari, è stato un piacere lavorare con voi questo mese e siamo orgogliosi del lavoro che abbiamo realizzato insieme! Our last week has almost come to an end... To be fair we are all so sad right now because in some way it feels like we just got used to everything and became friends with cool and nice people but now it’s time to leave, but before we do we are going to write this article!

Continuing our previous topic, we finally went out to some of Altamura’s best bars with the best coordinator Roxane!! It is a great memory that we will cherish forever💜💜Then on the weekend some of us went to Matera, and on Sunday we visited Monopoli as well, but that’s not all, because other participants went to Lecce in the meanwhile, so we all were quite busy!

The working week started off with us getting straight to business with our final project which is (small spoiler) a short documentary film comprised of all the interviews – both of the locals and us! It was a challenge but also a great opportunity for us to show our skills since we had full freedom in directing and editing it. We all cannot wait to see the final result of our month’ worth of work come together in a reportage like that!

As we are almost done, we have to have a final event as well which will present our results as a team, so for this significant kind of event we decided...to meet altogether, and make pasta and tiramisu with a presentation of our documentary! In the beginning it was supposed to look differently but later we all agreed that this option is much cozier and more comfortable. We also invited people that we interviewed so it looks like we will have lots of fun tomorrow hehe.

Last but not least, since it’s our last article we wanted to leave here a few phrases from all the participant as it is:

“I am so grateful for this experience; I enjoyed every bit of it! From the people I met, to the projects we created together, passing by the little trips and moments outside of Agorateca, without forgetting the amazing authentic Italian food I ate.” Ella from France.

I met absolutely incredible people whom I want to look up to, I visited places I never thought I would, and I experienced so much new things that now I am full of feelings and memories! “Participating in this project was such a wonderful opportunity. I learnt about sustainability, Puglia's local products, other cultures and, mostly, about myself. Spending a month in another country living with people from so many different places was something that I found scary and challenging, but in the end I was lucky to have been surrounded by so many great people who made the experience worth it.” Carmen from Spain.

“One month flew by. It was such a fun and memorable experience that I’ll carry with me for life. Working with everyone was truly enjoyable, seeing how many minds can come together to achieve a common goal made everything more rewarding. "I am very happy I participated in this project and made some new friends along the way. This experience helped to test myself especially speaking in another language. I really enjoyed the projects and listening to the people who put so much effort and passion into their work. “A month flew by quickly: a month full of emotions, activities and lots of English. This experience was very important for me, I really enjoyed the activities, seeing the beautiful landscapes that we have here which many times we underestimate. All the people I met during this project were very meaningful to me, starting from Dario, Roxane and Giuseppe to all the members of Link and obviously the guys who stayed with us for a month but also the people we met along the way. I learnt and saw a lot; I would gladly do it again. The more I spend time with foreign people, the more I think that the whole world is a country. A big hug and thank you for everything." “We’re both sad and happy to finally conclude the project. The group did a really great work with their construction in Agorateca (that you can come see anytime), they had a good time meeting locals and doing interviews but most of all they did an amazing work for the documentary! We will soon publish it on youtube for everyone to be able to see it. We’ve had good feedbacks from the group on our last closing session and we got a recap of their best memories and experiences during their time here in Altamura. We shared all of that on a last lunch all together to conclude everything. Them having a good time was our goal like it always is and from what they told us, they did!
