Hey there, I'm Nika!
I'm 22 years old and I'm from Georgia (not the U.S. State, but the one known for amazing wine and even better hospitality)
"Right now, I'm on this incredible journey as a long-term volunteer!
Honestly, I signed up because it sounded fun and let’s be real... I also wanted a free ticket to Italy ;)
Visiting Italy has been my dream for as long as I can remember.
Who wouldn’t want to experience all that pasta, art, and history in one of the most romantic places on earth?
When I'm not daydreaming about pizza and focaccia, you can find me with a book in hand, taking long night walks or let’s just say it - sipping on something nice to relax after a long day.
Yes, drinking is part of the hobby list, but in a classy way, you know? *wink wink*
I’ve always believed life’s more fun when you’re doing something meaningful and volunteering seemed like the perfect mix of doing good and having a great adventure.
Plus, who wouldn’t want to combine that with making new friends and eating gelato in Italy?
One of my most exciting experiences has been working on the Health Common Good project. I make a ton of new friends, but I also had a blast coming up with activities and brainstorming ideas with my fellow volunteers.
Honestly, there's nothing more fun than working together, getting creative and seeing how our ideas can make a real impact.
It was challenging but super rewarding and I’m pretty sure we laughed more than we worked (in a good way, of course!).
So, here I am living my best volunteer life, exploring the world, and maybe indulging in a little vino along the way... Salute!"
