Hey, I’m Garance and I’m 24 and I’m from France! Piacere :)
"I just arrived in Altamura to be a long-term volunteer with Link.
Rumor has it I came here for the pasta and gelato.
But as I am still trying to figure out what to do with my life, this project in Italy was a good opportunity for me to work and discover a lot of new things.
Being in Agorateca also means that I get to spend time doing activities with children, which was one of my main goals coming here.
I can’t wait to discover more about the projects and the tasks I will be able to do during my months here.
Before that, what I need is to learn Italian, because after a year of italian duolingo, I can proudly say that I ordered a focaccia by myself yesterday!
What I really enjoy is taking photos of everything around me and I can tell you that from what I’ve seen, I will have the time of my life here in the south of Italy.
Anyway, being here will definitely help me discover myself and maybe I'll know what to do in the future ;)
In the meantime, I’ll be in Agorateca, hopefully understanding everything we are talking about."
